Monday Updates from Rolling Acres

Good Morning,

This week at the farm has started off with the typical 'April showers' but currently the sun is shining brightly and the horses are loving it! Last week, our own Robin Feldman participated in “Lincoln’s Last Ride” held on April 13th in Washington D.C.  It was a mounted horse procession from 15th Street near the White House and concluded at Lincoln’s Cottage.  A riderless horse represented the fallen president.  President Lincoln last visited his Washington D.C. cottage retreat on April 13, 1865, the day before his assassination. For photos of the procession, click here.

The Rolling Acres show team is on the road again today and will be heading to Lexington, Virginia where they will be competing for the next two weeks.  We wish everyone the best of luck at the show! Be sure to stay tuned for results next week!

We also want to congratulate Pam on her new adoption, Buddy! Buddy is a Great Pyrenees who was being fostered by Pam's daughter Kristina when they first met him over Easter. We are so excited for Buddy and his new home with the Saul's!
